Our Committment The CITL will Lead the way in providing excellent learning experiences across traditional, online, and blended formats. Promote and support the innovative use of technology in teaching language, literature, and culture. Offer expertise in media design, production, and delivery. Manage technology resources to facilitate teaching and research. Partner with the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center (TLTC) and the College (ARHU) to provide valuable programs, services, and resources for instructors. Support the research and development of technology-enhanced instructional materials. Recognize and incentivize innovative teaching and research. Provide adaptable, tech-equipped spaces (both physical and virtual) to support these activities. How we will achieve this We will Collaborate with faculty and administrators to develop online and blended courses. Stay updated on the latest trends in language, literature and culture teaching and learning. Create and deliver training programs tailored to the needs of our community. Offer professional development for faculty, teaching assistants, and staff. Work with faculty to secure grants that encourage the use of innovative technologies. Faculty should schedule their class through their department. All other scheduling for General Purpose Classrooms is handled through the Campus Scheduling Office (x4-8243). Other spaces available for SLLC faculty use The Lauretta Clough Community Room (JMZ 1205)  Room reservation form | Occupancy: Seats 65 with 56 chairs + 4 couches The Lauretta Clough Community Room is a multi-function space that can be used for a variety of events.  The room has moveable tables and seating, a whiteboard, and an AV system with built-in microphones, speakers, and cameras.  The space is Zoom-ready and available for hybrid events.  Note: You will receive a calendar invite as confirmation that your event has been added to the calendar. Please include additional email addresses in notes section if you want others to receive a calendar invite as well. The CITL Media Classroom (JMZ 1204) The media classroom is a small group learning space with four iMac computer stations and a conference table.
